2023 National Night Out
My Learning Studio & Explore Riverside Together presents, Orangecrest neighborhood National Night Out, organized in conjunction with the Riverside Police Department and the Riverside Fire Department. Our mission is to inform the public about various police and community programs that are designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.
Let's get out, have fun, and crack down on crime!
This year's festivities will be on Tuesday, October 4th.
Here's a taste of what you have to look forward to at this year's event:
- The City of Riverside Police and Fire Departments will have challenges that will include the kids
- FREE Dog Balloons for the kids, compliments of BMW
- FREE Creative Solutions will have a coloring contest
- DJ Richterscale - Eric Redmond will entertain us and have prizes for those that participate.
- FREE Lulu's SnoBalls - Bringing a taste of New Orleans to Southern California
- Happiness on 4 Hooves - Spreading love and joy through interaction with gentle magnificent creatures
- Chalk Wall for all to add to the beauty of Riverside
- FREE Cookies and water donated by Senator Richard Roth
- FREE Books for kinder - 5th grade will be given away by My Learning Studio
- FREE Gumballs from My Learning Studio
- FREE Craft with Mission Vista Academy

What is Explore Riverside Together (ERT)
Our belief is when you love where you live, you are respectful and take pride in your surroundings. Through Explore Riverside Together, we encourage residents, young and old, to [re] discover all that Riverside has to offer.
Our 3rd annual Explore Riverside Together event is Saturday, October 1st, 2022, with check-in between 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Riverside City Hall. We encourage individuals, families, young adults, and visitors to sign up for a Discovery Passport and [re]Discover Riverside’s historic landmarks, hidden gems, and interactive activities.
This event is FREE for all ages thanks to our generous sponsors and My Learning Studio OUTREACH and My Learning Studio
Explore Riverside Together Tours
Information
Sign up through eventbrite and then check-in at the City Hall Breezeway. You'll receive a Discovery Passport with up-to-date information on available tours.
Open Hours means you can show up anytime within this time frame and each location has docents, activities, or FREE admission.
The only location that is limited is the Mission Inn Museum exterior tours so arrive early as tickets will be released at different times during the day. If you are interested in an interior tour, the Mission Inn Museum is offering 20% discount on tours (ERT20 Discount Code) and 10% discount on merchandise (ERT10 Discount Code). These discount codes are valid now until November 20, 2011. .
NOTE:
Visit RCC's Culinary Academy only between 10 - 12:00 pm
Culinary Campus tour is at 10:00am or 12:00pm
Demonstration with Chef Orlando is at 10:30am
Fresh Baked Cookie Sale will be 10 - 12:00 PM
RCC's Coil School of Arts (Music School) will offer short tours at teh following times only.

Stroll down Main Street, view and listen to videos and the six civil rights icons and there will be information tables. at the registration area for some of our awesome sponsors.
Guests are encouraged to post & hashtag on social media #ERT.
Each family will be provided a goodie bag filled with treasures and information from our sponsors and local businesses.
We’ll focus on Riverside’s 50K University and College students, along with our K-12 students and families.
We’ll encourage “Pride in Riverside” growth in hopes people will graduate and seek to raise their families locally, ensuring Riverside’s leadership and future is bright.
How can you help?
Become a sponsor, donor, volunteer, or business partner. Our top sponsors will have an information table near registration at City Hall. Other opportunities will be showcased on flyers and included in social media posts. Sponsors can also add information and coupons to our goodie bags!
Why do we need your help?
We need your help to provide better futures for the youth of our community. Strong educational success provides people more opportunities in life, creates better citizens, and communities.We are excited to host our 3rd Annual Explore Riverside Together Passport Experience on Saturday, October 1, 2022.
What will you do at this event?
- Explore all that Downtown Riverside has to offer.
- Learn about the monuments, statues, and installations on Main Street from Riverside leaders through pre-recorded videos.
- Visit significant locations, tour museums and historic sights, and more!
- Support local businesses and community, while growing pride in Riverside.
What does this event support?
- My Learning Studio OUTREACH, our 501c3 Nonprofit.
- Free or reduced-fee tutoring and workshops for low-income, foster, adopted, at-risk, and court-appointed students and those affected financially by COVID-19.
What else?
- This event is FREE for all ages!
- Every group/family will receive a Discovery Passport, a companion booklet and a goodie bag with Riverside business handouts.
